The aim of the International Symposium on Structural Health Monitoring and Nondestructive Testing is to provide an overview of the latest breakthroughs in SHM and NDT and their interactions with various industrial sectors. Internationally acknowledged experts and researchers in the field of SHM, NDT and data processing will be speaking. The symposium will be a 2-day conference (original dates were : 14-15 of May 2020  **  Due to the pandemia of the New Coronavirus the Symposium is now  postponed in Fall 2020: November 25 & 26, 2020  **) in a DISTANCE mode with oral presentations (pre-recorded narrated presentations), poster session.

The symposium SHM-NDT 2020 provides a Forum for end users, scientists, equipment suppliers and for an interested audience to discuss current scientific topics and to examine products as well as present and future possibilities for SHM and NDT.

The Symposium is organized by Université Laval in partnership with the Canadian Institute for Non Destructive Evaluation (CINDE), the German Society for Nondestructive Testing (DGZfP e.V.), the French Society for Nondestructive Testing (Cofrend), INSA-Lyon, Fraunhofer IZFP, Fraunhofer EZRT.

Interestingly, the IXth edition of the International Workshop on Advances Signal Processing for  NonDestructive Evaluation (IWASPNDE, Quebec Workshop) will take place as a simultaneous event.
