The purpose of this award is to recognize an outstanding paper to take part in the SHM-NDT 2020 Symposium.

The award aims at encouraging innovative studies of young researchers in some of the topics of interest for the Symposium. The prize, reserved to graduate or doctoral main presenting authors (of equal of less than 35 years of age), will be an official certificate. The prize will be delivered to the winner after the Symposium, once all papers will have been presented.

Rules and Eligibility:

• The candidate must be a graduate or doctoral student or a young researcher as of the submission deadline; s/he must be listed as first author of the paper.
• Each candidate can only submit one paper for competition.
• The submitted paper must address one of the Symposium topics.
• The submitted paper must be the same paper accepted for presentation at the Symposium (final version uploaded to the EasyChair platform).
• The candidate must present his/her paper at the Symposium.

2nd Dec 2020: «3rd Under 35 years of age Award» is announced. Votes from the audience were collected and with pleasure we annonce the winning paper: "Paper # 5 : Seyed Fouad Karimian, Ramin Moradi, Sergio Cofre-Martel, Katrina M. An official Award Certificate was made available to them and is shown  here.
